This batch of music was my contribution to *pandemic era nature-core electronic music* that seemed to flourish during this time period. But more so, this music feels like a continuation of a musical thread I’d started exploring as a teenager in the late 2000’s.

The first ever release from my old project Animal Flag (rip) was an album called “Flood of Sunlight” which I made in high school sometime around 2008 / 2009 with my friend Billy Centenaro aka "Parts" in his bedroom. If you listen to that album and then esv 1 + 2, you can clearly hear the thread.

The thread goes even further back though, which one day maybe we'll explore.
